  • Roberto Magi (born in Rome, April 13, 1964) I have been actively involved in the Wellness department for many years. In 1981 I earned my Massiofisioterapia (therapeutic massage) diploma at the Scuola Marcello Brunetti. I then pursued my studies delving in massage techniques and manipulation. In 1988 I earned my specialization at Rudy Palombini’s Scuola di Shiatsu in Rome. While completing these studies, I also took a course in Bioenergetic Neonatal Masssage at the Centro Studi Eva Reich in Rome. I then completed various Masters courses in Chi Kung conducted by Sifu Wong Kiew Kit. After an extended stay in China, in 1988, I completed a 3 year course in Psycho-Corporal Activities at Dr. Michele Picerni’s Centro Studi Psicoterapia “Chelidonium” in the main branch in Velletri. In 1999 I founded Bhoga as a cultural association – an experimental space where yoga and meditation were practiced. Our wellness therapists learned various massage techniques and seminars covering oriental culture and traditions were held. A few years ago, I opened a massage center and I am responsible for the business management and organization of various Spas, together with the training of the technicians to be employed at my centers through the recent creation of an Academy. It is mainly to this training academy that I dedicate a great amount of my time to. In training massage theraptists, I believe that aside from them mastering indispensable technical notions, they should understand and address the psychological aspect with attention to the interior dimension. With this perspective in mind, The Bhoga Academy, aside from my commitment, benefits from the expertise of qualified professors such as Prof. Giorgio Milanetti, lecturer at the department of Oriental Studies at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”; Dr. Michele Picerni, psychologist, psychotherapist and as of 1989, President of Centro Studi “Chelidonium” with head branch in Velletri; and Jospeh Zurlo, professor at the Scuola Italiana di Osteopatia (Italian School of Osteopathy) C.E.R.D.O of Rome.
  • Giorgio Milanetti is a professor of Hindi Literature at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”.
